Lunch with Roche

Roche will be hosting an exciting lunch session that will be divided in two parts.
Peder Jest, Jest Consulting (former CEO, Odense University hospital) will be sharing his insights on the topic “Diagnostics - the heart of healthcare”
“Among decision makers in healthcare it is often pronounced that it is data driven. But the pumping heart for all clinicians in decision making is the results of diagnostic procedures. Without this no recommandations, conclusions, documentations and data for AI algorithms to bring the best possible result for the patients. The diagnostic area will constantly develop and the different methods and specialties will be combined in new network formations. Many of the procedures will change to be delivered in a local and personal manner during point of care technology (POCT). All this will lead to new challenges in organization, digitization, education, workflow and performance in the diagnostic area”.
A panel discussion will follow where Martina Jurs, Chairman dbio, Lise Bathum, Head of the Clinical Biochemistry Lab Amager/Hvidovre Hospitals, and Peder Jest, Jest Consulting, will discuss the role of diagnostics in the future Danish Healthcare system.
The debate will be facilitated by Pernille Schmidt, Healthcare Development Chapter Lead, Roche Diagnostics.
