"My diagnosis took two years and eight months from the time I first went to my GP to complain that I was short of breath."
Annette, heart failure patient and member of The Pumping Marvellous Foundation

Roche Diagnostics Limited and The Pumping Marvellous Foundation have commissioned a report which brings together quantitative and qualitative data on the diagnostic pathway for heart failure patients. The aim of the report is to better understand the patient experience, and identify the opportunities to remove the barriers to early diagnosis for clinicians in both primary and secondary care.

Report collaborators:

Nick Hartshorne-Evans, Chief Executive of The Pumping Marvellous Foundation
Professor Martin Cowie, Professor of Cardiology at Imperial College and Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust

Dr. Fozia Ahmed, Consultant cardiologist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
