Healthcare is facing a contradiction: rising healthcare costs that do not necessarily lead to a higher quality of healthcare. How can we address these conflicting actualities? The answer lies in the introduction of value-based healthcare (VBHC) models!
By standardizing how we measure the quality of care and by transparently sharing what is working and what is not, we will consistently improve towards a health system focused on outcomes that matter most to all of us.
Making this transformation requires an overarching strategy and restructuring of how healthcare is organized, measured and reimbursed. Michael Porter and Elizabeth Teisberg introduced such a strategy in 2006, named the VBHC “Value Agenda”.
Join our live event with keynote speaker Stefan Larsson, MD and cofounder of the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM), as he discusses how to provide better care at lower costs with VBHC. Next, we will take you on a journey throughout the 6 steps of the Value Agenda as we hear from innovative startup companies and organizations that have proved successful in applying the VBHC model to transform healthcare.
