    Médico especialista en Laboratorio Clínico con M.Sc. en Biología Molecular. Actualmente es Jefe de Servicio y Director Técnico del Laboratorio y Banco de Sangre de la Clínica Alemana Temuco, Chile.
    Médico, egresada de Facultad de Ciencias Médicas en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras.  Cuenta con un MBA  y Certificación en Medicina Transfusional  del  Royal College of Physicians de Edimburgo. Fue Directora del Programa Nacional de Sangre en Cruz Roja Hondureña; actualmente es la Directora Ejecutiva de la Fundación Teletón. Ha participado en la Red Mundial de Seguridad Sanguínea a través de varias instituciones tales como OMS, OPS, AABB e ISBT.
